Jobs Guarantee: West Midlands is delivered in partnership by specialist organisations who bring together strong employer networks and local delivery expertise across Birmingham and Solihull. Together, we support employers to create high-quality placements and support young people to succeed in work, working closely with Jobcentre Plus on referrals and participant journeys.
Catch22 provides overall coordination, stakeholder engagement and dedicated Career Coach support. We work with employers and Jobcentre Plus to keep the journey clear and responsive and stay alongside each young person from pre-placement preparation to in-work wraparound support. Beyond Jobs Guarantee, Catch22 delivers public services across employability, education, justice, social care, and health and wellbeing.
Supplytrain CIC leads on employer engagement and vacancy generation, supporting employers to shape roles, get vacancies approved, and move smoothly through the process. Outside of this programme, Supplytrain is a social enterprise helping employers navigate the education system, recruit and develop talent, and build fair routes into work through early careers, apprenticeships and partnerships.
Sport4Life provides additional career coach capacity, strengthening local delivery and helping young people settle into work, build confidence and progress. Outside Jobs Guarantee, Sport4Life is a West Midlands youth employment charity using sport, mentoring, employability skills and qualifications to support young people into sustained education, employment and training.
Jobs Guarantee: West Midlands is funded by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), a UK government department. The DWP works to improve people’s day to day lives, helping people move into work and supporting progression for those already in work with the overarching aim of higher workforce participation.
